We had an amazing stay at the Calabogie Lodge. The 3-bedroom villa we stayed in was clean and spacious. We were several families all staying in separate units and everyone seemed to have enjoyed their time there. The games room and the pool were a hit with the kids. They're already asking when we're coming back!
A great place to relax and enjoy nature. Cosy units, very well equipped and clean. Lots of outdoor activities and equipment included. Lake swimming in the summer and a modest indoor pool with a hot tub for cooler weather. Boat docks a nearby ramp allow lake access. It's an easy walk to the local general store. A great place for a getaway.
Absolutely loved my time at the Calabogie Lodge with my fellow co-workers. The rooms were spacious, warm and inviting with plenty of space for privacy and quiet time. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm smile from the front desk agent who gave me information regarding the Lodge, where I would find my room, and the other amenities in the area I could enjoy during my free time (skating, skiing, hiking etc.). The food was absolutely exquisite and the chef was exceptionnal! I felt right at home! I will definately be back!
Although it was a long drive to get there, the place was amazing, the staff is friendly and other campers were nice to hang out with. The rooms were also nice and spacious. And everything is available in the kitchen.
We stayed here this past week and had a great experience. Great location, rooms were clean and comfortable and was a perfect spot for a quiet getaway close to Calabogie ski hill. We'd happily stay here again.
Very nice space to relax. Large upper floor bedroom with kitchen and living on a ground floor. We spent the week touring small towns around the resort as it turned to winter weather upon our arrival. Still hate the cash grab of a "resort fee" of $150. Interesting conversation with an owner there as he doesn't pay the fee we paid although you would assume the same cleaning would be required.
If I could give 10 stars, I’d give 11! The Dupont family absolutely loved our stay at Calabogie Lodge Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and hospitality, every staff member was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The entire resort was spotless, including our cozy cottage, which felt like a true home away from home. The beach was perfectly maintained, no litter, no seaweed, just clean sand and clear water. One of our favourite parts? The complimentary boat rentals! Every boat was in pristine condition, and not a single boat spider in sight (a rare and very appreciated detail). What truly made our stay unforgettable was meeting the owner, Daniel. His kindness, passion, and the time he took to share the rich and beautiful history of Calabogie Lodge made us feel truly valued. This place is a hidden gem, and we’re already counting down the days until our next visit!
We booked a two-bedroom villa over Christmas and were very pleased with the property. The villa was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. We spent our days skiing at Calabogie and loved coming back to relax with a swim afterward. We had other families booked as well, and it was the perfect setup for a larger group — everyone had their own villa, yet we were able to easily walk to each other’s places. It was the perfect holiday getaway and an amazing value. We can’t wait to return
